This is a true story I'd like to tell you........

A kind but poor man had a garden. The garden existed to support his family because of their financial situation.

This kind man tended to the garden exerting great energy and consuming more time than usual because of the very poor soil conditions so that the garden was productive. He loved his garden.

He spent hours protecting and strengthening the plants and their fruit from weather and pondered the correct attitude to have when a bird or other animal fled with food from his garden that was for HIS family, for surely the animals need to eat; and this man loved working in his garden.

One evening during harvest, the garden was ravished by a new animal. This one walked upon two legs. The stolen produce was large by comparison to the efforts of the combined animals and he initially was angry.

After searching his already kind heart and lamenting over his toil for his own family's support from the garden, he realized what he must do to solve this situation.

He dug a hole at the end of the garden where the person who stole the fruits of his labor had entered, and nailed a piece of plywood to a 6 foot wood post and drove it into the ground. He attached a sign he had made to the plywood face that would solve all his problems with this pilfering.

The sign reads:

To whom it may concern: Freely partake of the fruit of this garden as you are needful, but take only that which you can eat and waste it not; for freely I received, and freely I give. It is my gift to you.

This is a true story I have told you, and it accurately reflects a Zion heart.

Consider it wisely. Peace & Love, Jahnihah
