Mormon Temple Rites, Pagan Incantations: Terror and Fear

By the way, just so you all know. I often times take sides in these discussions, and defend positions that I do not personally practice. Whenever I see raw fear jump out of a post, I tend to take the side of the feared, to soothe away some of the rough edges from the fear, and calm a fearful heart.

In many cases, it is the terror itself that is harmful, and not the object of the fear.

I have been blessed with an intensely keen mind, spend most of my life hiding it, because I want to fit in, and not be such a freak all the time... Anyway, as a result of this blessing, I see parallels, and irony very keenly.

For example:

One group puts pretend fig leaves on themselves, and covers themselves in robes, and funny hats, and underwear with strange markings, then they make odd gestures with their hands, and stand around an altar in a circle of goodwill, chanting after a voice, expecting that it will get them access to heaven.

Another group lights a candle, and fills a dish with water, and a bowl with earth, and lights some incense, and generates a circle of peace, and makes some odd gestures with the five elements, and chants a prayer, expecting to receive some benefit from heaven.

Either group is doing the same thing, invoking the powers of heaven as best as we can from the midst of our blindness. If we want to put labels on one group and call them apostate LDS mormon fundies, and call the other group apostate wiccan pagans, we can, but it doesn't change the fundamental similarities in practice and effect. Both are apostate. Both are seeking (and finding) light. Neither can adequately express the light they find, because light can't be easily captured into words.

> Does this mean I must personally experience that
> which Father has told me to avoid?

Walk as you feel you need to. Each is an individual, and each may receive light appropriate to their capabilities and desires.

Some plant a seed in the ground, and see it as an act of magick. Others plant a seed and see it as nothing more than a mechanical action. The one who sees the planting of a seed as magick may heal a person by laying on of hands. The one who sees planting as a mechanical action may heal a person by use of a vitamin obtained from the plant. Either way, the sick are healed, as a manifestation of the gifts of the spirit. Either way, the fruit of each persons faith brings a wholesome end.

> Remember, why would we want to 'do' such and such, without Christ ???

Are you Christ or not? If you are Christ, then anything you do is with Christ. If you are not Christ, then anything you do is without Christ.

Only through revelation will answers to the following questions be received...

Is Father a Christian? Is Mother? Are any of the Fathers or Mothers? Is Christ a Christian? Are there higher forms of holiness than what was expressed by Christ? Are there higher forms of holiness that bring the same results, but take a person directly to the Father/Mother level without the intervention of the lower Christ level? Or the Moses Level? Can a person get to the Christ level directly without intervention of the lower Moses Level? Are the people in the city of Enoch Christian?
