In the temples of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, a principle is taught which is called the "True Order of Prayer". The true order of payer is the manner in which we are able to pierce the veil and commune directly with God.

Through the application of the true order of prayer, we are prepared in all ways to receive further light and knowledge at the veil, and to enter into the presence of God.

In the early days of the church, altars were made in many places outside of the temples. These altars were used by the saints to receive further light and knowledge by praying in the true order of prayer. When someone prays in the true order of prayer, their eyes are opened and they see things as they really are.

There is power in the true order of prayer that permits a person to see through deception, and gain light and knowledge directly from Christ.

If you have been endowed, consider building an altar in your home, and using it to pray in the true order of prayer. See if the veil is opened to you in rich abundance.

You can get robes that the same place you get garments or mormon underwear. If you don't want to build a dedicated altar, choose a table or a nightstand or a chest of drawers that is about the right height. Place a pillow on the floor so you will be comfortable. If possible, set this temporary altar apart as a sacred place that is not used, for anything else. Place this altar in a room where you can pray in peace.

If you have been taught to pray in the true order, and you are not doing it, you are not truly endowed, and have not walked in obedience to every instruction you received in the temple on that day.

Seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit in this matter. When you get confirmation that you should proceed, the spirit will instruct you in the particulars. You will find that your mind will be opened to better understand how to pray in the True Order.

If you've been endowed, try it: you'll see the power.
